The Ai no Kane  (Bell of Love) is one of the world’s largest swing bells, located in Oukyū no Oka (Royal Hill) at Tokinosumika.

It was created in memory of those affected by natural disasters, offering quiet comfort and strength to all who visit.
With Mt. Fuji in view, the sound of the bell resonates differently depending on the season, time of day and your state of mind.

It’s a peaceful spot where many pause to listen and reflect.

Note: Ai no Kane is located in Oukyū no Oka, which requires a ticket for evening entry.

Ai no Kane (Bell of Love)

Arigatayama is a peaceful hilltop retreat within Tokinosumika, inspired by the ancient Chinese concept of “kōzen no ki” – a calm, upright spirit.
Along the mountain path, about 1,800 stone Jizo statues from Fujian, China gently watch over visitors. 
Their serene expressions create a calming, meditative walk.

The trailhead is right next to Hotel Tokinosumika, and the full loop takes about 20 minutes.
At the top, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of Mt. Fuji, one of Gotemba’s official “Top 10 Fuji Views.”



Arigatayama (Gratitude Mountain)

Arigato Zen Temple is a peaceful place to reflect on the power of gratitude.
Visit the “Thank You Jizo” or try calligraphy meditation to calm the mind.

Futsal

This large wooden arch bridge connects Parking Lot 1 to the main park area and serves as the welcoming gate to Tokinosumika.

Completed in July 2017, it is one of the largest wooden arch bridges in Japan, measuring 25 meters long, 15 meters wide and 3.5 meters high.
Made from pine, cypress and cedar, it incorporates about 30 tons of steel and features good-luck symbols from the traditional Japanese saying “Ichi-Fuji, Ni-Taka, San-Nasubi” (Mt. Fuji, hawk and eggplant).

From the top of the bridge, you can enjoy a full view of the park. It's also a popular spot for photos.

Hatsuyume Bridge

here are one Kiso horses, a natural monument of Nagano Prefecture.
One is named Yui-chan. They are friendly and gentle in nature, and will warmly welcome everyone.
They are a popular spot for little children, offering a heartwarming experience.

Right at the center of Tokinosumika, Sakura SQUARE is the go-to spot for seasonal events and lively gatherings. 
In front of the main dining hall Grand Table, the stage hosts live music and performances that bring the whole place to life.

Sakura SQUARE

Sazare Ishi stands quietly within the Tokinosumika grounds.
It is the stone mentioned in Japan’s national anthem, Kimigayo:

“Until the pebbles grow into boulders, moss-covered through the ages.”

This rare formation was created over time as minerals fused tiny stones into one large rock.
A peaceful spot that lets you feel the quiet power of nature and time.

Tokinosumika's strawberry picking features strawberries cultivated with meticulous attention to flavor, aroma, and appearance. Through careful fruit thinning, nutrients are concentrated in each selected berry. Leaving abundant foliage promotes photosynthesis, drawing out a deep, rich sweetness. Enjoy the luxurious experience of savoring bright red strawberries right in the lush green greenhouse.
