JETBOAT RIDE
A jetboat works much like a jet plane, except using water for propulsion instead of air. Avoiding propellers, and their limitations, grants more power, more speed, and more maneuverability. Jetboats also have planing hulls and operate at planing speeds. This reduces drag and allows for even higher speeds and even greater maneuverability. But, speedboats go fast. So, what makes a jetboat special? A jetboat can operate at very high speeds in water as shallow as 7.5 centimeters (3 inches). It can crash stop from full speed in about one boat's length of distance. It can also perform a Hamilton turn (jet spin), which is a quick, high-splash, up-to-360° spin. A jetboat can even spin in place, which is something no single-propeller boat can do. Furthermore, you can ride a jetboat with a clear conscience. Having no propeller makes a jetboat safer for both swimmers and marine life alike. So, sit back and enjoy the ride!
