Quick Manila Half day city tour NO lunch
This tour will give you a taste of Manila's history and culture in a short time. We will first visit Rizal Park, where the Jose Rizal Memorial Statue, a symbol of Philippine independence, stands, followed by a tour of San Agustin Church (museum not visited) and the majestic Manila Cathedral. We will stroll through the beautiful plaza of Plaza Roma and admire the exterior of the former Manila City Hall (now the Finance Office). We will then visit the historic Fort Santiago and enjoy the exterior of the Manila City Hall and the Manila Clock Tower. Finally, we will visit Bonifacio and the Katipunan Revolutionary Monument, where we will spend half a day exploring Philippine history. Rizal Park (Rizal Monument only)
The park is located at the northern end of Roxas Boulevard overlooking Manila Bay. The name comes from the place where "Jose Rizal," a national hero of the Philippines, was executed during the Spanish colonial period. Today, Rizal Park is a resting place for Manila residents with a monument guarded 24 hours a day by guards.

San Agustin Church (Church only)
The church was built about 400 years ago and is registered as a World Heritage site. The detailed interior, Baroque architectural interior, chandeliers and murals will make you forget that you are in Asia.

Manila Cathedral
Founded in the 16th century, it has undergone several reconstructions to its current form. It features Gothic and Romanesque architectural styles, and is decorated with beautiful stained glass windows and sculptures. The historical and cultural importance of the cathedral, which has even been visited by the Pope, makes it a popular destination for many tourists and local believers.
Plaza Roma
It has been a plaza since the Spanish colonial period, when it was called Plaza Mayor of Manila. During the American occupation, it was renamed Plaza McKinley. The present name was given by Rufino Santos, Rufino Santos became the first Filipino cardinal to be elevated to the College of Cardinals of the Catholic Church in 1961.
Ayuntamiento de Manila (Casas Consistoriales)
The Old City Hall, also known as the Marble Palace, was first built in 1607, destroyed by an earthquake, and rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1738, only to be destroyed again in 1863 by the Manila earthquake. It was rebuilt again, but was destroyed during the Manila War in 1945, and the current building was constructed in 2013.

Fort Santiago (Enter)
Originally built to prevent pirates, it was walled up during the Spanish colonial period and was once occupied by American and Japanese troops. In the dungeon, Filipino hero Jose Rizal was imprisoned before his execution. The Jose Rizal Memorial Museum is located on the grounds.

Manila City Hall (Visited only the exterior)
The building was built in the 1930s during the American colonial period. The largest clock tower in the Philippines, which has become a landmark, is located on the site. Destroyed during the Battle of Manila in 1945, it has been restored and is now on display as a museum.

Like Manila City Hall, it is a hexagonal clock tower built in the 1930s, with bells and melodies three times a day and hymns played at Christmas.

Bonifacio and the Katipunan Revolution Monument
Like Jose Rizal, he is known as the "Father of the Philippine Revolution" because he was a revolutionary and started the "Philippine Revolution" to gain independence from Spain.

What to Bring
- For entry into the church, men should preferably wear chinos or collared polo shirts, and women should wear shirts with sleeves and skirts or pants that cover the knees. Please refrain from wearing sandals, shorts, sleeveless clothing, training wear, and other clothing that is not appropriate for a sacred place. You may be denied entry.
